How We Do It

ONE-STOP-SHOP - Usually a home project includes a touch of many construction trades. Just a simple repair may require a little drywall, a little electrical, a little trim, etc. So, who do you call? A drywaller? An electrician? A plumber?
At The Homeowners Helper, we understand that finding the right craftsmen with the right skills for your project can be like finding a needle in a haystack. That is why we have developed our business to provide a one-stop resource for all of your home improvement needs.
Since we perform all trades, there is no need to coordinate multiple contractors and you get to work with the same tradesman from the beginning to the end of your project. From changing a doorknob to remodeling your kitchen, we have skills, expertise, and experience that you are looking for.

EDUCATION - We understand that you need a clear understanding of what your project entails and what your options may be. Therefore, we take the time to listen to your concerns and provide answers that are relevant, cost effective, and empower you for the construction process. Knowledge is power and we can provide it.

CREATIVE SOLUTIONS – To be in the construction industry, you have to have a little artist in you. That creative aspect of the career is used regularly to solve problems and develop unique outcomes.
Since a construction task can be approached and completed in multiple ways, “I need new countertops” could mean laminate, tile, solid surface, natural stone, etc. When you consider all the aspects of a project or task, you can see how much creative license is available.
Beyond choosing product, the arrangement and installation of that product also affects the signature of the final outcome.
In simple terms, using creativity can save money, improve the outcome, and take a normally mundane project to the next level.

“A FRIEND IN THE BUSINESS” – Any business owner knows that business is really all about relationships. At The Homeowners Helper, that concept is not just buried somewhere in a mission statement. Instead, it is actively practiced and highly valued in our daily operations.
To us your are not just another client. You are a new friend who we will see in the grocery store or post office.

Here is what a few of our past clients have had to say:

“I am a construction mans daughter, I know just enough about home repair to get me into trouble. My knowledge is extensive enough, however, to aid me in identifying a person who is being honest and accurate about the needed work and the costs involved” Cindy Laird Cronin

“Your follow up regarding customer satisfaction came as no surprise. I would have expected nothing less from the way in which you handled our remodeling project” John D. Canteline
